New York UFO
Todays Daily Mirror website has posted a story about an oddity in the sky above the city. In a film taken by someone who goes by the YouTube user name of Von Edger Land, there apears to be a craft just hanging in the sky.
He goes on to say that after 15seconds of filming his phone shut down unexpectedly after overheating and that wildlife in the area seemed to be frightened away by the strange noise it made.
Personally my money would be on this being some sort of drone, but who knows if you have a look on youtube there have been similar sightings in the past few years.

Update On The Tynemouth UFO
Yesterday I blogged about the UFO that was spotted and filmed in the skies over Tynemouth UK. Well according to todays Daily Mirror website it would appear there have been more witnesses of the strange lights in the sky. After the local paper, The Chronicle post a Video of the light in the sky on its website other people have come forward to say they too have seen the light, so to speak.
Karl Findlay of Brunswick Village Claims he spotted something in the Sky on Tuesday night at around 8:30pm whilst taking the bis out. He also claims he caught it on video, a copy of which ive not et been able to obtain, He said “When I’ve been looking back at the video I zoomed in and spotted a star like shape in the sky, which looked quite like the object from the original video.”
Another witness Andrew Phinn from North Shields who spotted an object in the sky whilst in his back garden for a cigarette at around 11:40pm on Monday night (the night of the original sighting)
Says "I was looking out towards Tynemouth when I saw a white light in the sky. It was flickering. It did not move at all but it could not have been a star, because it was too low."
What this light could be really is anybodies guess the video certainly dosnt show anything other than a light in the sky. Im sure different factions of the UFO community will have varying theories but with just a video of a light to go on and a couple of other witnesses to they that all they saw was a light we can only wildly speculate.
